This cheeky, Grinch-like character is the Imp, the main antagonist of a new game concept I've been working on. Players control his rival, the janitor who has to clean up the Imp's graffiti. Of course this being a video game, things aren't that straightforward: much like Super Mario 64, the paintings in this particular gallery lead to new worlds which resemble the famous artwork they're based on. Think of it as a modern day version of Tom & Jerry or Looney Tunes that (perhaps no so) subtly teaches players about art and it's history.
If for some people video games can't be art, let's at least have some art in video games.
While I can't claim copyright on the paintings for obvious reasons, the Imp character and this game concept belong to me.
